“I’d Go At Him Every Time”

Dear citizens of Chicago, Illinois:

Fire Cutler now!

You will never win with him, as evidenced by yesterday’s 17-14 loss to the Washington Redskins. His arrogance stands between your team and any real success.

Take his comments after the game. You know the comments I mean: “There’s no reason to shy away from him. I mean, that’s hard for me to say, throwing four picks at a guy, but I’d still, if we had to play them tomorrow, I’d go at him every time, if we could.”

Now, I don’t follow the AFC West, so I’m not versed in the finer points of the Hall/Cutler relationship when Hall was in Oakland and Cutler in Denver. Yes, those teams are bitter rivals, but that’s about all that makes it to my radar.

But this is where Cutler’s arrogance comes in. If he had bothered to put whatever personal vendetta he thought he had with Hall aside for ten minutes and actually watched one series of game film from last week’s Redskins-Colts game, he would have known to throw towards Carlos Rogers instead. The worst that could’ve happened in that case would’ve been incompletions.

Jay Cutler: you, sir, are an idiot.
